Frag Dolls - We finally have our finallist!

It has been 8 months since we announced our casting call for Eeker's replacement (tho no way she will every be replaced). Rhoulette finally parsed through the applications, and landed on our final candiates. This is not going to be an easy decision. So glad I am not the one making the decision. Good news is, Gus from Red vs Blue is coming to town to be on the panel! It is going to be the best weekend with Calistah, Renelly, Cella, Gus, and all the girls in my home town for the final weekend of the selection process.
"It is my honor to announce our Elite 8, the final candidates being considered for the Frag Doll team. Each girl has been interviewed and their applications thoroughly examined. The selection itself was based on things like writing proficiency, public speaking experience, extent of game knowledge, community involvement, and of course l33t gaming skills."

Korean Air Force looking for a few good gamers - Engadget

Turns out the American military isn't the only fighting force looking to those with gaming skillz to fill its ranks. South Korea's Air Force is looking to recruit a handful of pro gamers to help improve training programs. After boot camp, the gamers will be assigned to a special office where they'll help develop flight and battle sims. While in the military, they'll still be able to compete in online tournaments, but won't be allowed to play for money. However, given that Korea has mandatory military service for men over 20, these guys would have to gear up in green anyhow, and now they'll know upfront that any battlefield they land on will be strictly virtual.

I'm back

OK, I am officially back to blogging now that my most recent project has launched and you have to check it out. Winterfresh has a new campaign called "Cool Breath Power" featuring LoveMaestro21 as your hero in love. I was lucky enough to work with Bobby Powar and Miles Turpin at BBDO who were the brain child behind this campaign along with Karl Ackermann who responsible for these fantastic animations.

The site as it stands today is just the first launch, with more worlds coming in the next few weeks. Basically we designed one huge game board where, instead of moving from section to section with loader screens, you actually travel a literal distance to the new world.

We are very proud of the results... but you ain't seen nothing yet!

Taking me off Arcade

Since the 360 came, out, the only thing it has really been used for is a REALLY loud DVD player, and arcade. By the time I get home from my new job, I am so mentally wiped the only think I can do is look at small simple objects that make cool sounds. The only game machine in my house that gets any love these days is my DS which I have become unhealthily attached to.
That is until GRAW. I know I am paid to promote the game, but damn it sure is pretty. Who else is playing and I will add you to my FL. Oh by the way, our ladies are playing IGN in a "Grudge Match" this evening. I am not sure why they have a grudge on us. We have never played them before, but apparently they have a chip on their shoulder and we are going at it over GRAW for a few hours. Results to be posted soon on IGN.
