I tried, without success to get my 3 XBL tags transferred to my 360 tonight (customer service closes at 10pm), but went to the site to register for my gamer card, and started poking around. Two of the "Friends of XBox" companies are portals I helped grow. Gamedaily as employee #3 during our build mode, and Gametrailers as the first on-air correspondent. Then I poke over to the "Calendar of Events" to see Frag Doll Friday right there in black and pink. I know I am a PSP hater, and even swore off the clunky network adapter/PS2 combo until I saw the ulta-take-me-now-sexy Two. But can you blame me? Sorry Sony, but my small world is only about XB and DS. I am sure that hurts to hear.
Revolution to be unveiled
"...gamers got a definite date when Nintendo will absolutely, positively reveal the Revolution in all its glory. The Mario factory sent out a "save the date" e-mail this morning saying that in "a mere 165 days to go (give or take)" it will reveal "all the incredible details about Nintendo's upcoming games and hardware, including our next home console, code-named Revolution."[via: Yahoo Games]
So when will be the Revolution's coming-out party? Unsurprisingly, it will be at next year's E3. Specifically, the console will be unveiled at Nintendo's pre-E3 press event, which is slated for 9:30 a.m. Pacific time on May 9, 2006. The venue will be the Kodak Theatre--home of the Academy Awards--in Hollywood, California."
At your local newsstand...
At the airport last night, I picked up the January issue of Penthouse. Check out pg 28 next time you are waiting in line at the corner store where you will find me (fully clothed) in the women of gaming article. Overall I think it was very well done (tho it was battle rifle not baster rifle ;) ). They interviewed a developer for Sega, one of the finalists for the EQII spokeswoman job (who we interviewed on Reset), then one of those chicks who grew the audience for her porn site by posting skin shots on 1up.com. If you spent any time around that site at all you will recognize her.
Outside of that, I had a nice thanksgiving dinner here in the city with Jinx, then we flew to Atlanta for the East Coast MLG Finals. We had planned to rehash our old plan by playing 4v4 Far Cry all weekend during the tournament, but remembered the last build we installed on our debugs was not the retail version, so we had them send up new silvers. After the hour it takes to install a game on 8 XBox machines, we started up the dedicated server to find all the copies were corrupt. So after a little shopping trip and $1200 later, Jinx and I had bought 4 new retail boxed and copies of Kong. I was shocked what a hit it was (and that Shook almost beat it in one sitting). I would like to thank Miss Jane, Mr Dance, G-Spot and all the PMS ladies for a fantastic time. See you all in Chicago in three weeks. :*

MTV buys Gametrailers
So this news has been a long time coming, but it is finally public: MTV bought Gametrailers.com. Along with my show on Yahoo Games, I do occasional correspondent work for GTtv, so I am pretty excited about the news. I suppose this means I can say I worked for MTV, well not really, but at least you will be able to find our content on their site. GTtv is also partnering with the Frag Dolls by filming our current round of RS4 Clan Wars, and soon filming tours of our top Far Cry user maps. Congrats to Brad, Kent, Jon, Geoff, Amanda and Daniel. I am beaming with pride today.
"MTV apparently canÂt get enough gaming this week, first with their (unfortunately titled) GameÃRZ week and now with their purchase of one of the best sites on the webs for game trailers. GameTrailers began in a garage and has now been acquired by MTV. Jon Slusser, CEO of GameTrailers, looked forward to being able to 'utilize MTVNÂs resources to create more content and grow our brand and destination.'"
What we do from 9-5, ur, 8
In case you wondered what type of projects the cool kids over here at EVB work on, then check out our newest launch, SkiIcon.
Starting this evening there will be a new Best Buy trailer in AMC Theaters nationwide. The trailer will play before almost every movie this thanksgiving through the holiday season.
It features Scott Stone, a virtual ski athlete, preparing for his 'ultimate challenge.' However Scott falls when a cell phone rings, he fails, and the rest is history.
We have designed and developed Scott's website, featuring many videos, fun facts, ringtones, and a 3D game of his monster jump experience. It is the first flash 8 project for EVB, and as far as I am concerned, right damn snazzy. Amanda baby, you done good.

RS Lockdown Clan Wars
Big love to Team Katscratch Bravo who took out Rhoulette Alpha tonight in our first Clan match. You guys made me proud ;). Practice up because we are up against Valkyrie Alpha next and my girl does not like to lose.
Eposide 10: Blizzcon

Kat and Raymond interview fans from all over the world -- and a few of them weren't even human! Watch this segment to find out what Blizzard fans really thought of the show. Highlights include Kat getting show goers to do their best murloc impression and Raymond trying to get a cute girl to break up with her boyfriend."[via: Yahoo Games]

Jinx and Kat on Amazon
Jinx and I are on the new "Games You Should Play" section on Amazon.com. Thanks Monkey, but dear lord that is the worst photo over taken. I love that Tycho is playing Guitar Hero too!
Frag Doll Friday again and new job
I started a new contract downtown at EVB (Jason Zada's agency) and have been SWAMPED. So sorry Calistah for missing out on so much Rainbow. However, I am going to try to take over one of the 360's at EGM Magazine this Friday for Frag Doll Friday. I think it's Halo, but it may be Far Cry not sure. We actually have an Xbox here at the office, but I have managed to sneek out of any head to heads to far. Anyway I will be on tomorrow night, and on Far Cry tonight (and WoW) if anyone wants to play. Peace.

I make Episode 9!
Dancing Stormtroopers, baby gamers, and zombies determined to ruin your holiday season are just some of the things you'll see in this action packed episode of Reset. First, Ruby and Raymond (affectionately known as R&R) head to New York for the Digital Life expo. Not only do they give you a tour that shows you the sights and sounds of the expo, they asked a bunch of the gamers in attendance what they thought of the show. Plus, Raymond bumps into two of his ex-girlfriends at the event. Awkward! To wrap it all up, Kat checks out Planet Moon's zombified game for the PSP, Infected. With heavy action, excellent humor, and mad cows (really!), this is one PSP game you don't want to miss.[via: Yahoo! Videogames]
Xbox 360 Backward Compatibility Finalized
News for nerds writes "Microsoft has finally announced [1]the list of the 213 Xbox 1 games playable on Xbox 360 at launch. A software emulator is required for each original Xbox game, which means you need an HDD for these games to work on Xbox 360. While it is expected that the list will grow in future via Live update, as of now it lacks first-party titles such as Project Gotham Racing, and other popular titles such as DOAU/X, Doom 3, Far Cry, KUF, Panzer Dragoon Orta, the Splinter Cell series, and the SW: Battlefront series." Xbox.com is also featuring an [2]interview with Todd Homdahl about the quest for compatibility.[via: slashdot
